Bison Hunting
We will be offering a bison hunting package in lieu of buying a bison for slaughter. The ideal time to hunt that bison is the same as for slaughter or after they are full of fresh grass. The ideal time would be late September to December but we are open minded as you can hunt bison as an exotic in Texas throughout the year.
The fully guided hunt will include one bison 18 months or older and can be a bull or heifer. Premium bulls may have a trophy but the cost is $6000. We will handle field dressing, skinning & handling the carcass overnight in our walk-in refrigerator; it will be ready to be transported to your butcher to be processed. Lodging is also included in this hunt for hunter & observer for one night only; any additional services will be charged according to regular fees. There are no hidden costs or fees with either bison; you own every ounce of the animal you harvest. So, you can take the robe, skull, cape, bones, whatever. It's all yours. We are with you every step of the way to ensure a clean, efficient, and humane kill on the appropriate bison.
Solo hunts may be paired with other customers, at our discretion, so as to maximize our efficiency with both the calendar. Each hunt would be conducted separately (i.e. one in the morning; one in the afternoon).
We do not provide taxidermy or tanning services, but we can provide you with recommendations in our area.

HOG HUNTING
Texas Hog Hunting is a year round thrilling experience, whether shooting from your deer stand, chasing with dogs or a thermal night hunt. You can kill as many as you want for a $300 trophy fee. Call us if you want to setup a hunt with dogs or a thermal night hunt. It never seems to fail that each hog hunt is an unforgettable experience in the great outdoors.
DUCK HUNTING
Harlan Farms built a levee system between two lakes to develop a duck habitat. The pit blind in the levee provides ultimate comfort like a condo in the ground but we also have flooded timber and traditional blind hunting. Duck hunting has been reserved primarily for special hunts and deer hunters; however, call us if you want to set up a special hunt and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The first step in booking a hunt with Harlan Farms: contact us by e-mail us at info@harlanfarms.com with a range of dates that will work for you. If you'd prefer to communicate by phone, just give us a call at (214) 727-9672.
Once we've agreed upon dates, please complete your reservation by filling out and returning waiver and release along with a 50% deposit for your hunt. The remainder will be due and payable on arrival at Harlan Farms. For groups, each visitor (hunters and non-hunters alike) must return a signed waiver and release.

Cancellation Policy
We accept cancellations up to ninety (90) days prior to your scheduled arrival. If inclement weather or emergency prevents you from hunting with us during your scheduled dates, we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling.
